Dear Denny and all the wonderful musicians / singers of the band Strangers –

Gary and I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding night one of the most fun nights of our lives!  We had the best time and I don’t think we left the dance floor once!  Everything was just absolutely amazing.  All of our parents loved all the music too and their friends are still commenting to them about how great you guys were!  I have already recommended you to some people I know that are getting married.  From the beginning when we met with Denny and Rich until the end of the night having a beer back at the bar, you all were just so warm and friendly, not to mention extremely talented!!!  Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!

Strangers kept the dance floor packed all night long.  Denny (Strangers band) works with you to make the night go smoothly, it’s the prep work beforehand that makes you feel like a superstar & go out have fun! We received numerous compliments on how great the band sounded: “The perfect volume” “Played a wide range of music,” “Great Horn Section.”   Strangers also provided the ceremony & cocktail hour music so you need not look any further for your musical needs.

Hey Denny!

Thanks for making our wedding amazing. I cannot tell you how many compliments we've received about our band choice, and how many people told us that our wedding was one of the best they've attended (to quote a few, "one for the books" and "the one to top"). Strangers just did an absolutely amazing job of rocking the party, and we both had the BEST time dancing the night away with you guys. Also, Doug and I agreed that we think you guys KILLED "On the Floor" by Jennifer Lopez -- it was ridiculously awesome. In fact, everything you guys did was great and we will absolutely make it out to a public gig to see you play. Just keep us posted and we'll definitely be there!

Thanks again for everything.  Doug and I loved getting to know you during the wedding prep, and we couldn't be more grateful to you all for making our wedding the best!

It has been three weeks since our wedding and people are still talking about what a great time they had that day. All the credit goes to Strangers. We have received numerous compliments about the song selection, sound quality, and over all performance of the band, including statements like, "Wow, I've never seen so many people on a dance floor all night long."

The night started with cocktail hour, during which two members of Strangers played and provided appropriate background music for the setting. After cocktail hour it was time to introduce the wedding party, and we're glad we went with the band's advice to have everyone come out to the Blues Brothers theme song. Strangers learned our first dance song for us, and it sounded great. So did the parent dances. The dinner music that followed was also very good.

Then the party really started. We got married during a July heat wave. The temperature reached 100+ that day, and unfortunately, the air conditioning units couldn't compensate. Our 290 guests were hot...very hot. But once Strangers got everyone on the dance floor with "I Gotta Feeling," people were hooked on them. The dance floor was packed all night until the very end.   Our parents were ready to pay them for an additional hour, but we already had a scheduled after party. No one wanted the night to end, as shown by the crowd chanting "one more song, one more song." Strangers delivered with the classic "Livin on a Prayer."

Strangers played a good mix of older classic wedding dance songs and newer songs. That's what we told Denny and Rick when we met with them several weeks before the wedding.  Although we checked the songs on their play list that we liked, we did not give a specific set list because we trusted the band to play to the crowd and get a feel for the night. Another good decision. The song selections were a perfect fit. They also learned John Mellencamp's "Cherry Bomb" for the father of the bride. He gave it a big two thumbs up.

We highly recommend Strangers to anyone who is looking for a wedding band that will keep the guests dancing all night.  In addition to being an incredible band, they are also very nice people to work with. Their professionalism, timely communication and kindness made for a perfect and memorable wedding reception. We look forward seeing Strangers play again at at their next public show.

Strangers have performed at The Lemon Ball for 2 years now and this year’s packed dance floor at midnight said it all!  We hope to have them back for the 6^th Annual Lemon Ball next January.  They are awesome!

Hi Denny,

I can't thank you and STRANGERS enough for making our perfect day even more fabulous!!  Eric and I had such an amazing time and wish we could do it again.  The band was fantastic and our friends and family were just as thrilled by your performance as we were.  It was so great to see how many people danced and I loved looking at the crowd to see how much fun everyone was having.  I also learned that a few "non-dancers" found their way to the dance floor as well!  I believe that is a true indication as to how great you are as a band.

We have received such positive feedback from our guests.  We got a lot of "this was the best wedding we have ever been to" and "where did you find STRANGERS?"

I would also like to thank you for learning the songs that we selected to dance to.  It was such a special part of the reception and to have them performed live made it so much better.

I am affiliated with Jericho National Golf Club and was partially responsible for the selection of a band for our company Xmas party held on 12/5/09.  Strangers performed for us... what a GREAT band!There were about 150 guests.. of all ages... all up & dancing all night!  Strangers has a great sound, super vocalists, amazing horn section... all around super band.   I will recommend them to other country clubs in the area, and Jericho will absolutely recommend them to persons booking events & needing band referrals.  They did a fantastic job!

The STRANGERS were fantastic!

Since our wedding venue was on a 100' yacht that docked at our home on the Miles River, St. Michaels, MD, we wanted the entertainment to be the BEST and we got it!

Denny and the other members of the band made sure that our selection of music suited our guest list, which was a mix of the younger set and lots of mature adults in the "sixty something" range.

They made the challenges of our venue - for both the cermony & reception (and weather conditions) work perfectly.

Our guests had a great time and had great things to say about the band's professionalism and talents.

We had requested CD selections for our bridal processional and first dance and Denny seamlessly blended them in with his live show. It was great!

We'd recommend The Strangers to anyone wanting a fun group that can adapt to any venue and guest list and provide great dance & listening music .

Hi Denny!

We are just getting back from our honeymoon and hearing lots of positive feedback about our wedding :)  I think the most popular quote we have heard is "That band was awesome!!!"  You guys did an UNBELIEVABLE job- Sean and I were so happy and impressed with all that you did to make our wedding day special.  We are so appreciative that you learned all 6 of our song requests!  The night would not have been the same without the Strangers!   I think you may be getting some business from our wedding guests- every single person that I talk with has been raving about your band.  Thanks again for everything you did Denny.  It was such a pleasure meeting you and getting to know you.  Send our appreciation to all the band members as well.  Best of luck and we hope to see you soon..... maybe we will be booking you for my baby shower!!  hahaha :)

I said it over and over on Saturday night...........boy are Strangers great!! Your band was everything Jane and I wanted, expected, and more.

A little background for you that you may not know. We started our band search in the winter by asking for recommendations from the clubhouse manager at Gulph Mills Golf Club, Helen Lojewski. She said to check in with BVT, which we did, and spoke with Bill. He suggested that we look at the website of Strangers, and then come to a preview at King of Prussia. We were impressed with the website, really enjoyed the preview and professionalism that you and your band showed us. We were sold.

You and I talked a couple of times as we got closer to the event on 8/23, and you talked with Helen to get any logistical details worked out. The planning and set up by your band was flawless. Then the performance.

We had asked for cocktail music between 6 and 7:30---done perfectly with songs we selected. We asked for dinner music until about 8:30---done perfectly. Then your band started rolling with the faster dance music that everyone was looking forward to. It was exactly what the guests and we wanted in terms of types of songs, performance, volume and excitement. Your lead singers are fabulous.......their energy and enthusiasm are electric. All the brass and background musicians were excellent and contributed to the success of the performance. The weather and venue sure didn't hurt, but it was your band that made the night.

So, thanks to you, Denny, and your band for helping to make the evening a special one for Jane and me, and our families and friends. There have been many compliments said to us about about your band because of your great performance.

Keep that band together.....you've got a great formula for fabulous entertainment!!
