Trinidelphia & Chris Aschman Jazz

Trinidelphia is the Delaware Valley's premier Caribbean Steel Drum combo.  

Led by multi-instrumentalist Chris Aschman, the group can feature two to five members using any combination of percussion, drum set, bass, guitar, vocals, or a second steel drummer if necessary.  Since 2005, Trinidelphia has been frequenting venues such as Curtin's Wharf of Burlington NJ, the Manayunk Brew Pub of Manayunk PA, The Golden Inn of Avalon NJ, and the Jamaican Jerk Hut and Chris' Jazz Cafe of Center City Philadelphia, as well as a host of other private events.

Chris Aschman is one of Philadelphia's most active freelance musicians, as both a jazz trumpeter and steel drummer.  Often featured in duo and trio settings, his mature, lyrical lines on trumpet and flugelhorn have earned him respect within the jazz community.  At the age of 24, he as had the opportunity to perform alongside artists such as Stanley Clarke, Andy Narell, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Freddie Jackson, John Swana, and Roy Hargrove, among many others.
