Sid Miller Dance Band: Sid Miller

Sid Miller, professional saxophonist, flutist, singer and Master of Ceremonies, has been a popular band leader of the Sid Miller Dance Band (formerly, the Sid Miller Orchestra) for more than 20 years. Sid is an expert at crafting exceptional parties. Performing and leading his band at more than 700 events, Sid knows event management inside and out.

Sid has a Bachelors and Masters Degree from Temple University and has completed post-graduate work at the University of the Arts and the Berklee College of Music. He has performed with a wide range of internationally known artists including Herbie Hancock, Norman Conners, Eddie Palmiere and Tito Puente.Sid is also a published song writer. One of his songs, "Come and Share My Love" was recorded by the Grammy nominated band, Cintron.

Borders Book Store asked Sid to share his expertise by giving a lecture and seminar with perspective brides at their Springfield location, and his informative articles have appeared in the bridal magazine of the Jewish Exponent and in Elegant Weddings Magazine. Sid gained national recognition when he was interviewed on Dateline NBC about his former singer from 2000-2002, Columbia Recording Artist, Vivian Green, who gave Sid credit for her development as an entertainer and versatile vocalist.

Sid is a member of The National Association of Catering Executives as well as a member of the Philadelphia Visitor’s Bureau. Recognized nationally, Sid has been chosen to be a member of the National Register's Who's Who in Professionals, which is part of the United States Chamber of Commerce and registered with the Library of Congress.
