Sid,

This note is long overdue. My wife Torey and I would just like to sincerely thank you for the incredible performance that you put on at our wedding reception at the Crystal Tea Room on April 8 of this year. From beginning to end, the Sid Miller Orchestra riveted the crowd, always leaving us wanting more. In fact, the only disappointing moment of the day for me was when you and the band finished your last song!

In a set full of numerous highlights, there were a few that stood out for me as being particularly outstanding. First, your rendition of Stevie's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" as we entered the room was just the perfect song to introduce us to the world as husband and wife -- so good, in fact, that it inspired me to start dancing around the room after our entrance (my wife soon joined in). Second, the band's version of "Can't Smile Without You" during the father/daughter dance (a song, I might add, that the band had to learn in the weeks leading up to the wedding) was done perfectly, and made the moment unforgettable. Finally, the versatility that you and your bandmates showed in pandering to my friends' requests -- first by reeling off a fantastic performance of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" (with no practice at all), and then by backing me up in the always-fun (though never-to-be-repeated) "Baby Got Back" -- was as terrific as it was unexpected.

Our wedding day was the most memorable day of our lives, and you and the band played a major role in making it so memorable. As someone who is about to turn 30 and who has therefore been to MANY of my friends' weddings over the last five to seven years, I can easily say that the Sid Miller Orchestra is the best wedding band that I've ever heard. And it's not even close.

Thank you for your first-class, professional efforts, and for helping make our wedding day so special. Best to you and the band in the future.
