Dear Kurt,

This is a belated thank you for your orchestra’s participation in our daughter Pamela’s wedding on August 1st.

We cannot thank you enough for the preparation and performance for what was more than a memorable afternoon and evening.

After witnessing two of your performances at weddings prior to our Pammy’s, we thought that we had a good understanding of what we were to witness.

We were decidedly wrong. The musicality, professionalism, blend, melody, harmony and selection of pieces, not to mention your timing and coordination with the caterer, was nothing short of impeccable.

We fielded dozens of “Who was that orchestra?” calls. It reached the point where we were about to leave a message on our answering machine with your name and phone number. In fact, we were very pleased when many of our family and guests told us that yours was the best orchestra they had ever heard at any wedding, and this was from some of our more critical guests.

I am sure that you receive many accolades such as this, so allow me to just say that a thank you does not begin to express our appreciation for the wonderful music you provided for our affair. Your orchestra more than exceeded our expectations.

The White House certainly chose wisely in asking you to perform.
