As an event planner, entertainment is always paramount in our review for our client-customers. He is always in form when he milks the meaning of the composer’s words of songs from the Great American Songbook. At other times he uses vocalese to bring out the nuances of jazz standards as interpreted by the giants that have left their mark on the world of jazz.  Lou Lanza is the consummate entertainer whether he is giving the audience the background of a song before launching into lyrics that leave audiences wanting more or when he works with a guest singer and in the process brings out their best.
