Very much like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, and the Squirrel Nut Zippers, Swing Easy was a part of the big band and swing revival of the '90's in the Philadelphia region.  What set them apart stylistically was an ear for the authentic Rat Pack and Basie sounds of the '40's thru the mid '60's.

Jazz is America's greatest cultural contribution to the world. The Inspired Emotions division of BVT has some of the best jazz artists in the world on its roster. Our artists have played internationally in concerts, festivals, and clubs. Hot or cool, traditional or contemporary, vocal or instrumental, straight ahead or smooth, our ensembles are comprised of the finest professional musicians available in the area. Inspired Emotions jazz artists are available for any of your special event needs from cocktail hour to dinners to corporate and themed events.

BVT Specialty Shows by Lou Lanza

Would you and your guests enjoy a trip down memory lane?  How about a show built around a theme, composer, or performer?  With our BVT ensembles ranging from solo to big band, most programs can be tailored to fit your specifications and budget.  Lou Lanza is considered one of the best in the business at entertaining an audience as well as constructing shows with particular clientele in mind.  We offer not only custom designed concert programs, but themed evenings that include jazz and traditional standard tributes to George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers, Benny Goodman & Lionel Hampton, Frank Sinatra (both a look at his early days, as well as a comprehensive evening), Ella Fitzgerald, Jazz Goes to Broadway, Jazz Goes to The Movies, as well as jazz tributes to The Doors and more. 

These themed concerts have been performed in situations ranging from concert hall to corporate party to adult community.
