Dear Pete,

Julia and Ari's wedding on Sunday night was a sheer delight - due in large part to you and your marvelous band, City Rhythm. Your musicians did such a beautiful job in expressing the mood and musical preferences of our bride and groom - everything you did - from the wedding ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner/dancing celebration itself - was sheer perfection. My husband and I are being flooded with messages and phone calls from our guests thanking us for the beautiful experience they had, and I want you to know how much everyone loved the music - everyone is raving about the fabulous band  (just as we knew they would - you are absolutely the best)!  

You have an amazing and talented group of musical artists, and they really helped to cast a spell over our wedding! And we also appreciated that the music wasn't so loud that it was blasting in a way that prevented any conversation (as so often happens at many wedding and parties) - it was a perfect blend of music, volume, fast and slow, "vintage" and new. And you did such a fabulous thing with the Dartmouth and Yale songs!! Everyone just loved that - thank you so much for taking the time to make that happen so perfectly! 

We wish you great and continued success, and many, many more New York weddings and parties! Please let me know when you are performing up here at any clubs - we would love to hear City Rhythm again any chance we can get.

My wife and I hired The City Rhythm to play our wedding in the fall of 2009. Represented by Brandywine Valley Talent, we received excellent service from both BVT (Brandywine Valley Talent), and the band leader, from the onset of the process. We had a variety of song requests - some standard, some not - and the band performed every piece with perfection and with its own blend of original stylings. Our wedding wasn't necessarily an easy gig either. The ceremony included attendees from all over Latin America, as well as attendees from the states, so we needed a good mix of musical styles to keep the party moving. We were incredibly impressed to see a dance floor consistently packed over a 2 1/2 hr dance set - which seamlessly weaved in a variety of musical stylings. 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, standards, Latin, Motown, jazz, anthem rock, electronica and pop - it was all there and performed exceptionally well. Even the cocktail hour performance received applause from our appreciative guests.

The City Rhythm Orchestra and Brandywine Valley Talent helped make our wedding day the best of our lives.

Mark and I just returned home from our honeymoon and we wanted to take a second to write you a sincere thank you for helping make our wedding absolutely wonderful!

You and City Rhythm were simply amazing!  From the beginning, your professionalism, excitement, talent, and experience were top of the line and invaluable.  We absolutely loved the Italian accordian player for the cocktail hour as it set a joyful personal tone to the entire event.  You worked with us to create a program that was unique and personal to us, as well as reflected the nature of my ethnic (Italian) background.  The fact that the band learned songs that were special to my family's region in Italy and played them beautifully at the reception was just incredible.  And you even let my Father and his Italian sisters sing a very special song with the band!! How amazing!!  Of course, the diversity and breadth of the band spoke to so many different groups of people at the wedding.  It was perfect!

So many of our guests have commented on how wonderful a group you are and that they enjoyed themselves immensely.  Most of all, Mark and I, as well as our families, had the most special time and we can truly attribute that to the joy of music your band brought to our reception.

Thank you guys.  Everyone had an absolute blast.  I don't think we got through salad and the dance floor was already packed.  Normandy kept having to summon people back to the tables to eat dinner.  A number of guests have said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding.  City Rhythm made the night, you guys were awesome!

I've already had a number of people ask for your information so hopefully you'll see some referrals in the near future; I know I would love to go to another City Rhythm wedding.  Anyway, I can't say enough about the performance - please let me know if you need recommendations / referrals, etc.  I'd be happy to share my experience.

Dear Bill,

They provided the amazing entertainment for our "Living Through Cancer" event held at Aronimink Golf Club on October 13th. Bandleader Pete Spina and the entire band made our anniversary gala event feel like we were at the Oscars! Hi Pete,

I hope that you are having a wonderful summer!

Jon and I got our wedding pictures back last week and spent a good part of this past weekend re-living the wedding with our family. In going through some great dancing shots Jon and I realized that in the busy weeks that followed our wedding and honeymoon we never got in touch with you to tell you how wonderful City Rhythm was at the wedding.

Our Friends and family are still raving about how great the music was and we could not agree more. You did such a great job with our song, my grandparent's anniversary song, and the range and selection of songs were in perfect keeping with the "feel" we wanted to have at our wedding. I think both Jon and I were surprised at how much dancing there was before dinner...but I just don't think anyone could resist! You guys far exceeded our expectations and we can not thank you enough.

It was such a pleasure to work with you and we really look forward to hearing City Rhythm again soon.

We have enjoyed getting the City Rhythm e-mail updates and we are hoping to get to your show at Cooper River Park in August (it is a short walk from our house). Though, I will be honest your Italy trip sounds a bit more exciting! We were there for our honeymoon and cannot wait to go back!
