City Rhythm Performs for Abby and Chris's Wedding at the National Constitution Center

City Rhythm performed at the June 18th Abby and Chris's wedding at the National Constitution Center.  The band provided music for everything from the ceremony to the main reception.  It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony and the group’s ensemble played classical favorites including the “Romeo and Juliet Main Theme” for the processional.  The couple’s first dance, “You and Me” by Dave Matthews, was  sung by guitarist Rich Cox. It was a great party in the impressive setting of the Center’s main hall.

City Rhythm on the Move - A Wedding, an Anniversary and a Festival

On Saturday, April 30th City Rhythm performed for a wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia.  They provided music for the ceremony, including melodies from “Water Music” and the popular Pachabel Canon in D.  The elegant reception was wonderful and City Rhythm played everything from standards to Motown to hits by Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas.

On Wednesday, June 1st City Rhythm performed for the 30th Anniversary of Airgas, Inc.  The spectacular event was held at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.  The band performed tasteful dinner music early in the evening, then got the crowd fired up with great dance music into the night.  The party was a huge success and the band was a key part of the occasion.  City Rhythm even played incidental music for the company’s presentations, including the theme from “Rocky” when the specially designed cake from “Cake Boss’ was brought out.

City Rhythm was the headliner at the May Chestnut Hill Garden Festival for the 8th consecutive year.  As usual, the band put on a great 3 hour show as locals and visitors strolled Germantown Avenue on a lovely spring day.  The crowd looks forward every year to hearing the fabulous sounds of the band on the main stage.

Check back soon to see what City Rhythm is up to!
