The nominations for 2010's MyPhl17's Hotlist are out and two of your favorite BVT artists - Jellyroll and Stringsations, have been nominated for the "Best Music" category!  Nominees are submitted by readers of MyPhl17 HOT LIST and winners are determined by popular vote.  To vote Jellyroll or Stringsations your favorite "Philadelphia Music", visit the Philly HotList website.  Voting ends Friday, September 10th.   

It was a night to celebrate the best of the Philadelphia area as Main Line Today magazine hosted their annual "Best of the Main" party last night at Drexelbrook in Drexel Hill.  Jellyroll, this year's winner for "Best Live Entertainment," was honored to perform for fellow winners and guests of the event.  Special guests at this year's event included host of "The 10 Show" and friend of Jellyroll, Bill Henley.  BVT's Back2Life also performed at last night's event and was excited to be able to share with the crowd their new title as the "Tony Luke's Eaglemania" house band.  Check out the upcoming Jellyroll blog for a recap and pictures of the party!  

What do you get when you combine Philly's favorite football team, a great party band and a staple of South Philly? Tony Luke's Eaglemania!! South Philly sandwich czar/actor Tony Luke Jr. is getting into the TV game with Tony Luke's Eaglemania, a weekly, half-hour Philadelphia Eagles fan-friendly variety show. The show will air at midnight on 6ABC, premiering Sept. 11. Luke will be backed by a house band including Skip Denenberg and BVT's own Back2Life. The show will tape at the Trocadero Theatre in Chinatown. First taping will be Aug. 31st. Stay tuned for more info and behind the scenes photos!

BVT is excited to announce that Jellyroll has been chosen as Main Line Today Magazine’s “Best of the Main Line” 2010 winner in the live entertainment category.   A reader favorite for the past 8 years, Jellyroll has been asked to provide the entertainment for this year's "Main Line Today" party to be held at Drexelbrook on Thursday, July 29th.  Jellyroll played this event last year and had a great time entertaining fellow winners and readers of Main Line Today.  Last year's surprise guest host, former Philadelphia Eagle and NBC 10 sportscaster Via Sikahama, even joined the band onstage to play some drums!  Jellyroll looks forward to being a crowd pleaser at this year's party and can't wait for some more fun and surprises!

It was a fun filled dance party at the Desmond Hotel's Sunset Grille on June 15th as Jellyroll welcomed in the summer season.  The crowd was treated to an evening of Jellyroll's signature party music and high energy sound!  If you missed the fun this time, don't fret.  Jellyroll will be back at the Desmond on September 14th for a special end-of-summer appearance! 

June 11th was an enchanted evening for Jellyroll, as they provided the musical entertainment for the annual Moonlight and Roses fundraising gala held at the Morris Arboretum.  The garden party gala supports the operation of the Arboretum and their Summer Concert Series.  Guests were treated to cocktails, hors d'oeuvre and then dinner and dancing.  Here's to a great season of beautiful blooms and magical music at the Arboretum!
