Brandywine Valley Talent's flagship dance band since 1980, Jellyroll has been known as a top Philly dance band for Philadelphia weddings and mitzvahs, as well as Delaware weddings, New Jersey weddings, corporate parties and social galas.  Over the years, Jellyroll has evolved into the one of most in demand Philadelphia wedding bands and overall dance bands performing at over 120 events including 90 Philadelphia weddings annually.  Jellyroll has even performed at 2 White House events recently.

Currently, Brandywine Valley Talent represents its exclusive variety dance bands, Jellyroll, Midnight Hour, Contagious, City Rhythm, the Sid Miller Dance Band, Back 2 Life, Strangers as well as the classical and pop string group Stringsations and the multi faceted, Inspired Moments.  BVT has also become the go-to source for, not only the best Philadelphia wedding bands and, of course, Philly dance bands, accomplished jazz groups such as The Tony Forliano Jazz Group and specialty entertainment.

What an Amazing Time!!

Looking back on the past couple of years, I am awestruck at the many successful events that we have planned and performed as well as the progress we have made as a business.   Many new relationships were made and many others solidified.  We are now settled at our new location in a state of the art, conveniently located office on Route One in Chadds Ford, where our staff is able to work more efficiently and our clients can experience BVT as the premier entertainment company that it is, in our new cutting edge video showcase theater.

We have welcomed City Rhythm, Strangers and Back 2 Life as our newest exclusive bands, and look forward to developing Group Therapy into a BVT top tier band.  Our roster of other specialty entertainment has also grown, so we are positioned to fill just about any live entertainment need.

Since January 1, 2007, our bands have performed at many of the highest profile and prestigious events in the country.  From a performance at the 150th anniversary of the Academy Ball in Philadelphia to the Sid Miller Dance Band’s performance at the National Autism Society of America's Evening Of Champions event in Providence, Rhode Island, to Jellyroll performing at The White House for what may be considered the Country’s most high profile gala event, The 2007 Congressional Ball.  Jellyroll also appeared for a second time at the White House at the request of Laura Bush for her 44th high school reunion.  BVT’s City Rhythm even performed at the World Champion Philadelphia Phillies’ Spring Training events in Clearwater, FL and later did 2 one week tours in Italy.

In addition to Jellyroll's second White House appearance, 2008 was especially eventful in many ways.  Community Service is a very important part of our business plan and BVT can be counted on to provide for a good cause.  For the third consecutive year, BVT provided three great dance bands, Back2Life, Strangers and Jellyroll as well as scores of other entertainers at the Philadelphia Flyers’ Wives Fight For Lives Carnival.  We look forward to our fourth year of partnership as we will once again be the entertainment sponsor at the 2010 Philadelphia Flyer's Wives Fight For Lives Carnival, which will be held at the Wachovia Center. In addition to this great cause, Back2Life donated their talent  at The City Of Hope’s annual fundraising gala held at Loew's Hotel Philadelphia.  Jellyroll's support of Today's Media charities continue to be evident with their involvement in the "Best of Delaware" and "Best of The Main Line" events.  In 2009, the Sid Miller Dance Band headlined the Philadelphia Auto Show on January 30th, benefitting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  We are also very proud to continue our partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand with Strangers' performance as a sponsor of the annual Lemon Ball (January 9, 2010 at the Philadelphia Marriott).  These are just a few examples of BVT's commitment to community service.

We continue to be acknowledged as a top dance band entertainment company both locally and nationally with Jellyroll’s “Best Of Delaware” and “Best Of The Main Line” awards.  Both Jellyroll and City Rhythm have also been selected as "Best Of Philly" in the past by Philadelphia Magazine.  More impressively, 3 of our bands, Jellyroll, Sid Miller Dance Band and City Rhythm were selected as best in the country in The Knot’s Top 150 Bands and DJs issue.  Brandywine Valley Talent was also awarded “Best Pick” by The Knot.

BVT continues to remain very active in Philadelphia's hospitality and event planning associations, primarily NACE (National Association of Catering Executives), ISES (International Association of Event Specialists), MPI (Meeting Professionals International) and the PCVB (Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau).  For example, while Jellyroll was performing at the White House, BVT's Contagious dance band entertained close to 300 event specialists at the annual Jingle Jam event at the Waterford Ballroom at the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel.  During the same week City Rhythm appeared at the Pennsylvania Society gathering at New York's Waldorf Austoria Hotel.

In 2008, we were honored to sponsor the 50th anniversary of the Philadelphia chapter of NACE where we introduced our exciting new electric string group, Stringsations Wired.  Stringsations Wired entertained the top Philadelphia Caterers and event professionals as they entered Feastivities Caterings' impressive new facility in the Roxborough section of Philly.  A month later, Stringsations Wired performed a one hour rock violin show at ISES annual Liberty Awards gala which was held at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia.  In 2009 Midnight Hour rocked the ISES gala at the Park Ridge Hotel.

We also look forward to continuing our partnership with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau.  On November 26, 2008, at the PCVB annual luncheon event , City Rhythm will perform for over 1000 of Philadelphia's leading hospitality professionals at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where the 2008 world champion Phillies were honored.  This past November, Jellyroll took the stage for the 2009 PCVB annual event where the new Philadelphia brand, "Life, Liberty and You" was rolled out.  Jellyroll was proud to coordinate their own "Philadelphia Sounds" show at this event, sharing the stage with Governor Rendell and Mayor Nutter.
